Some Key Information
- The hall is a charity and the trustees reserve the right to refuse to accept any requested bookings.
- All requests will need to be checked for availability and are not confirmed until you have received a formal confirmation from the hall management and payment has been received.
- Where the booking is for a party or function you may be requested to attend a meeting to discuss the suitability of the venue and agree the detail requirements.
- The hirer agrees to comply with the Ponthir Hall conditions of Hire and hall policies.

Room availability
- As we often have back to back activities the time booked shows the period from when you may initially have access to the hired area to the time when you are required to vacate the hall.
- The hall reserves the right to charge an additional rental fee when rooms are not vacated at the required time.
Payment & Cancellation
- Unless agreed otherwise by hall management payment is required at time of booking.
- You will receive a separate email with details of costs and with a link for payment. Preferred payment method is online with credit or debit card or with Apple / Google pay. Other payment methods are available and please contact the hall for details.
- For single bookings where the hire cost is more than £70 and where a cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is made 30 days or less before the date of hire a refund will only be given if the hall management are able to find an alternative customer for the requested time.
- For bookings costing £70 or less a full refund will be given provided the cancellation is made at least 72 hours in advance.
- In certain circumstances the hall may require a refundable security deposit for bookings which include a bar.
- Please note no confetti of any type is allowed in the hall.
- An additional charge for cleaning may be made if the hall is left in an unacceptable condition.
